In our first GUIS event, Dr Tilbe Göksun from Koç University Psychology Department was our guest. At the start of the event, she talked about the problems she faced throughout her academic journey. Then we held a Q&A session. In this long session, more detailed and specific questions were asked, thus ending our first GUIS event. We would like to thank Tilbe Göksun, who was our guest and talked about her academic life with all her sincerity, and the attendees for their participation and their questions. Burcu AyÅŸen Ürgen (PhD)

We invited Burcu AyÅŸen Ürgen from the Bilkent University Psychology Department to the GUIS #2. There was a Q&A session after the presentation that the professor has prepared according to specific difficulties of her academic life. With this Q&A session in which participants obtained a more detailed account of the story behind her Cv, the second GUIS has ended. GROWING UP IN SCIENCE #3
Aslı Özyürek (PhD)

At the third GUIS, professor  we were glad to be with Aslı Özyürek from Radboud University and Max Planck Institute of Psycholinguistics. We talked about her academic journey, the difference in people's perception of work-life balance between the European and American academy, xenophobia and discrimination towards women in the academy. After a small Q&A and discussion session, the third GUIS ended. Many thanks to both Aslı Özyürek and everyone who participated!
