Who Are We?

We are a group of people who are passionate about, and gathered around, Cognitive Science. Cognitive Science was founded in 20th century to understand the human brain, mind, and behaviour. Given that the brain is one of the most complex structures in the universe, understand it requires connecting scientific field like Neuroscience, Psychology, Linguistics, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy and Anthropology.

As people who embrace this interdisciplinary point of view, we aim to meet and share with other like-minded people. We plan to build a cognitive science community that extends not only to our home city of İstanbul, but to all of Turkey.

We believe that this community will foster both social and professional interactions, allowing us to build both professional relationships and friendships.

In addition to our main goal, we intend to promote Cognitive Science in Turkey.

​

Currently, cognitive science is not as popular in Turkey as rest of the world. We think it deserves more than that! In the long term, we aim to contribute to the developments of cognitive science both in academic research and in the more applied fields of the private market.
